Quiet Time is somewhat an ambiguous term. It sounds like the 5-minute time-out you place your kids in the corner of the kitchen because they’re misbehaving, or maybe you’re thinking of the personal moments you have on the floor in your own corner (of the closet) trying to find some quiet. Either way, when people speak of a Quiet Time in spiritual contexts they’re referring to something quite different.
